It is best to buy groceries at the Eurospin supermarket, which is located about 5 minutes by car towards the center of Catania. 

If you don't want to go that far, you can find a small general store in the neighboring village of Villaggio Giove on Via Pesce Pettine. You don't have to go there on the main road, there is an even less frequented road running parallel to it, which you turn off before you reach the road. 

For fresh pastries, you can go across the main road to Via dell´Arnica, where you can taste local delicacies baked with love in a tiny bakery.

Do you feel like sitting? We can recommend either the family restaurant and pizzeria Hello Darwin on the main road 100 meters on the left side from the EL Torero cafe, 400 meters from the house. Then a restaurant in a quiet place by the lake called Acquabianca by Amaro dell'Etna, they have great food and good prices or a restaurant with a bar and excellent food right on the beach II Triangolo Ristorante - they also prepare dishes for gluten intolerance (tried and delicious).
