CENTURIPE

A city in the province of Enna called Centuripe is built directly on the tops of a hilly massif and it has many remains of an ancient city, mostly from the Roman period, such as the ruins of Conradin Castle. Due to the fact that the city is exposed on the tops of hills, it has an interesting shape when viewed from above - the body of a reclining man.

Almost everything is narrow in Centuripe - houses, bars, parking spaces and the streets themselves. Driving through is an adventure. It's the same with parking, as a local resident confided to us: "Although parking here is crazy, but there are no policemen, so stop at the yellow cross and it will be fine". The view of the city from the local chapel is also impressive.
