Every morning you look at her from the bathroom window and think that today is the right day. If so, I recommend a few tips.

• If you don't have a car to go to the bottom station of the cable car, there are plenty of companies in Catania that will take you there by bus. Don't be mistaken, they will tell you that they will take you all the way to the top, but they really mean the bottom station of the cable car.
• The parking lot at the bottom station of the cable car is huge, don't worry that you won't fit in, even in summer.
• There are two craters right next to the parking lot - Silvestri Superiori (you get a little out of breath when climbing) and Silvestri Inferiori (comfort for everyone). Definitely recommend, it's a magical place.
• Then you have several options, which are very clearly drawn at the bottom station of the cable car (1920 m.a.s.l.). You can take the cable car / go up on foot to the top station of the cable car (2490 m.a.s.l.). The ascent leads along a wide path almost under the cable car. Then you can reach Torre de Filosofo (2910 m.a.s.l.) either by off-road bus or by foot (buses travel along the same route as pedestrians, so nothing pleasant, quite dusty). If you want to go higher, you need a guide, whose services can be purchased at the bottom station of the cable car. In winter, ascents are not made above.
